General Information
This site is in French. One of the reasons that motivated its creation is the observation that very few French-language sites about Python exist. This site therefore attempts to fill this gap.
First Pillar
The main objective of the site is to promote the Python programming language. The foundation of the site is the book "Python, les fondamentaux du langage" published by ENI editions. The site's content will therefore not repeat the book's content but will provide supplements to it. It will consist of:
In-depth articles on Python's evolution since the book's release and on certain modules not covered in the book.
Tutorials on alternative approaches to the Python programming language and on alternative or complementary modules to those proposed in the book.
Exercises on algorithmics applied to Python, on the use of Pythonic concepts, and on Python modules or frameworks.
Strategic and technical monitoring of all technologies related or connected to Python.
The content of these sections comes from needs encountered in our development work or from requests made to us during training sessions.
These are experience reports that are ultimately intended to be integrated into future new editions of the book.
Second Pillar
The other reason for creating this site is to make available resources from articles written for GNU/Linux Magazine France. Indeed, the guiding principles of these articles are:
Never assert anything without providing a demonstration (through source code) / illustrate points with concrete examples.
Spare the reader from having to type an article's source code / give readers the means to reproduce what is presented to them.
Bring something additional to the topics covered (by creating reusable components, providing avenues for improvement, etc.).
The source code or more generally the resources related to an article are therefore delivered here, accompanied by a link to the Diamond editions digital kiosk, the magazine publisher. These articles concern Python or related technologies such as HTML, Gimp, or Inkscape (the latter being extensible with Python).
Update Frequency
A weekly watch is carried out on Python technology and related ones (HTML 5, CSS, XML, LDAP, Apache, etc.). News items come from this monitoring and are published based on project activity. On average, ideally, one can expect 1 to 5 per week.
In-depth articles, tutorials, and exercises are published on a monthly target basis, without this being a firm commitment.
Finally, strategic and technical monitoring is carried out over several weeks (or even several months) and published as soon as completed. The goal is to produce one to two per year, which is also not a commitment.
The GLMF Articles section follows the rhythm of articles published in GNU/Linux Magazine France.

Independence
In order to preserve the editorial independence of this site, the following commitments are made:
This site commits to not running advertising campaigns, whether independently or through an advertising network.
This site is not intended to make money and is not part of any marketing strategy (other than promoting the Python programming language).
The viewpoint expressed is that of the authors and only that.
That said, the authors are not omniscient and their viewpoint is always open to improvement.
Personal Data
The InsPyration.org site uses Apache and Plone technologies. No tracking functionality has been added. No personal data is collected beyond Apache access logs used for statistics with Awstats.
The InsPyration.org site does not allow users to create an account or subscribe to any feature. However, RSS feeds are made available and each user can add the site or a particular page to their bookmarks.
The site will never ask (except for the contact form) for any personal data. Indeed, there is a deliberate desire not to collect any data whatsoever about site users, and in particular no email addresses.
Far from "Web 2.0" practices, this site is not part of any marketing strategy, is not designed to proactively sell any product, or to build a strike force for commercial campaigns.
Therefore, the user will not be constantly solicited to revisit the site, but will do so on their own initiative, in complete independence and peace of mind.
Comments
Generally speaking, the ability to post comments is not enabled across the entire site, but on a case-by-case basis on certain articles.
In order to respect users' personal data, comments will be anonymous, and to avoid spam, unwanted advertisements, or inappropriate remarks, post-moderation is systematically enabled.
You are therefore asked not to advertise in your comments, not to make outrageous statements, and to avoid text-speak, otherwise the comment will simply be deleted before publication.
Contact Form
It is possible to contact the site administrator via the contact form. You will need to provide your email address in order to receive a response; however, it will not be stored on the site.
When the contact form is submitted, an email is sent by the site directly to the administrator's mailbox, who then has the requester's email address. This address will not be used for any purpose other than responding to the request.
